Gas Prices!

Jennifer Dunyon (Vice President Of Communications for Get Away Today Vacations) Talks about gas prices, and traveling this summer! The average price of gas in Utah is $3.40 and the average in California is $3.80, so I used an average price of $3.60 per gallon. I figure the average mile per gallon is about 25 miles for the average traveler.  Here is what I came up with. 

If you were to drive from:

• Salt Lake City to Anaheim is 1,400 miles roudtrip. Therefore, it would take about $200 in gas for the entire trip.
• Salt Lake City to San Diego is 1,500 miles roundtrip. It would take about $220 in gas.
• Phoenix to Anaheim is 700 miles roundtrip. It would take about $100 in gas.
• Phoenix to San Diego is also 700 miles. It would take $100 in gas as well.
• Sacramento to Anaheim is 820 miles roundtrip. It would take $120 in gas.
• Sacramento to San Diego is about 1,000 roundtrip. It would take about $150 in gas.

Can Get Away Today Refund Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets After They've Been Picked Up? (FAQ)

No.  We can't refund Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets after you've picked the tickets up from the Disneyland Resort ticket window.  Once they've been issued, they're non-refundable. 

However, if you need to change or cancel your Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket order, please call Get Away Today BEFORE you pick up your tickets.

What is the Get Away Today Cancellation Policy? When Will The Money Be Refunded To My Account? (FAQ)

Any date change or cancellation must be done at least 72 hours in advance of your original check-in date or you may lose one night of your hotel stay. 

If you're staying at one of the Disneyland Resort properties, Disney's Paradise Pier, the Disneyland Hotel, or Disney's Grand Californian, you could lose the entire stay if changes or cancellations are made within 72 business hours.

If you need to change your check-in date, there is a $10 fee per room to do so.  If you need to switch hotels, there is a $25 fee per room.  In you need to cancel your vacation package, Get Away Today will refund the purchase price except $50 per room, plus our processing fees such as handling fees, rush fees, and hotel and voucher change fees.

Any refunded money will be put back into your account within 3-4 business days.
